House votes down MTG's "Defund the Ukraine" amendment 341-89

For all the gnashing of teeth and wailing about the need to defund American support of Ukraine, when the time came to "nut up or shut up" Republicans in large numbers joined Democrats in defeating Rep, Marjorie Taylor Greene's amendment to remove funding of Ukranian support yesterday.

The vote wasn't even close: 341 to 89 to defeat her amendment. 130 Republicans joined 211 Democrats to defeat the amendment.
89 Republicans voted in favor of Putin.

Bipartisanship at its finest.

That won't pass the Senate. Know why? Because defense decisions should be up to the Defense Department and our military. Not legistlative pretenders
