Have officially lost my chance at Mommy of the Year Award.

Youngest is angry because he forgot his homework and therefore can't play with hie friends or watch TV.

But the rules of the house are that you cannot do those things until homework is finished. His homework is not finished, that he left it at school and cannot finish it, is his fault not mine. So now I have a very upset child. And I am struggling to stay firm and not give in.

Who knew parenthood would involve so much damn guilt? And why didn't they warn me?

• 1 part Jägermeister
• 1 part Triple Sec
• 2 parts Vodka
• 1 dash Bitters, Angostura
• 1 part Cranberry Juice

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into glass.
