Is there anyone else out there that loves to go house hunting? No, not milf hunting ;). Since high school I have always enjoyed it when we went out to look at new homes and in my 20’s I started to enjoy looking at previously enjoyed homes. Not sure why, maybe this is a fetish? For me there is something so exciting about a new homes, creating new memories and things (and the details that went into building a house)….when I’m looking at older houses I try to imagine who lived there and all the things that they did. I guess the older home fetish came to me when we were looking at a brownstone and the current owners were moving out. Well leave it up to my husband but some how he found the wife’s “bob” and this thing was big and thick. I was in shock!

I thought you were going to say they had a dungeon.

Wouldn't it be freaky to be shown a room with manacles built into stone walls, maybe a big kennel cage or two, and a rack of various instruments of pleasure and degradation. They would have had it scrubbed down so there would be a pungent bleach smell. (No one wants to buy a pre-soiled dungeon? or do they?)

:D

I LIKE this one...

nooks& crannies...

one of the cool things about older houses are odd spaces... windowless pantry off the kitchen; wine cellar under the stairs; closet behind the chimney; dormers....

what if a couple had a fetish about sneaking off to have sex in as many of these nooks & crannies as possible...

Well... I've got a thing for sexy lady realtors. Not sure it really fits here but what the hell.

You forgot a few of the hide aways there, if it is an old and large enough house, there are servant stairs, there are servant quarters though usually those are opened up they always get tiny little rooms. The dumb waiters, they tend to be a bit larger than you would expect.

Of course there are other little gems there as well, tables tucked into the wall, if you know how and they are not removed, you can trigger it and it pops out, for the servants you see, in a hallway before a favorite room to have tea or coffee depending on where you find the old house. Ignore the movies, most of the time the only thing brought in would be the cup and cookies if any. If you are looking at a big old house and there is an odd bit of wood running down the wall in a hallway that is a hidden table, they put a leg on it. :D

in the business

well I have been in the house business for some time and I did show a house with a hidden room. Had whips and handcufs and a few other items I told the owner he had to put all that away as it would scare of buyer. Buyer turned the room into wine celler.
Another time buyers walked into bedroom , short show notice, and owner had not picked up and there was a huge black forearm with a fist :) and owner came running up. Needless to say there were a lot of red faces.
Then there was the time walked in and someone had forgot to let the owners son know we were coming and when we walked into bedroom their he was with his girl friend naked as ever and she was loudly enjoying sex.
House hunting can be fun at times.

I thought you were going to say they had a dungeon.

When I read the topic title (i.e. 'House Hunting'), my first thoughts went along the lines of Dick Cheney wandering around with a shotgun, in the same forest where Hugh Laurie happens to be on a camping trip.

Yeah, my mind works weird. :p
