It's simple. They can't be any bigger than 150 x 150. The guidelines are under the f.a.q. section at the top of this page. See it?

OK thanks, i clicked that and it just told me i can use one when I reach 100, but didn't give me guidlines, i assume it will then?

Well the only guideline is that it can't be larger than 150 x 150 but if you need more help you can send the pic to me and I can make it into an av. I do it for quite a few people in here

Hmmmmmm. just played with a picture and i cant figure out how to shrink an image. Maybe i could post it to you? Would it be a simple thing to resize for you?

I use ACDSee 5.0 but a lot of people use Paint Shop Pro. I don't have that

I guess i don't have either of those, but this is a new machine, so I just opened my HP Imaging software package and am going to see where it takes me.

There should be an edit button somewhere and normally has a resize option somewhere. Mine is easy to use. Not sure about Paint shop pro. I'm heading to bed. Night
