Great question and great example with Poison Ivy 3. I have always been an 80's-90's cable/vhs movie junkie. The cheesier the better. I must have rented over 200 movies when I was a teenager and specifically for the nudity, but in that quest I grew to love B-movies in general. Thanks to the internet I can (and do) own all of my favorites in one shape or form and my wife loves them almost as much as I do.

To answer the question, I'm male and these are my top 3 favorite sexy movies:

Great question and great example with Poison Ivy 3. I have always been an 80's-90's cable/vhs movie junkie. The cheesier the better. I must have rented over 200 movies when I was a teenager and specifically for the nudity, but in that quest I grew to love B-movies in general.

I wish there were more I liked, I was lucky to find Poison Ivy 3 because Jamie Pressly looked so incredibly hot on the box cover I had to check it out. But normally with those kinds of movies it's like many of the literotica stories. I try to read them but the quality is so bad I don't have the patience to find the better ones.

I don't have great taste or anything but I have always been really picky and impatient with things. That's why it's good to get good recommendations.

The Pillow Book was pretty killer. So were Y Tu Mamá También and The Center of the World and The Dreamers.

Bound (Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon FTW). Secretary (streaks better as BDSM fantasy than Fifty Shades of whatever). Preaching to the Perverted.

Of the classics, Last Tango in Paris and Henry & June. Wild Orchid -- a perfect example of Eighties cheese and excess, but still pretty steamy.

Crash (the Cronenberg joint, not the other one). And the movie as a whole wasn't sexy, but A History of Violence does feature a couple of truly mind-blowing sex scenes.

Shortbus (it was weird but also kind of awesome but also kind of weird seeing Sook-Yin Lee, a MuchMusic videographer crush from way back, doing an explicit sex scene).

Blue is the Warmest Color for some pretty darned sexy lesbian romance.

Shame, the McQueen joint about sex addiction. There is a fair amount of actual sex in it as befits the subject matter, but it's not treated as particularly sexy in itself. OTOH if you like truly searing flirtations and nigh-unbearable scenes of unrequited incestuous tension, boy howdy is this a movie for you. It's also quite emotionally powerful.

I'm not... totally sure that Baise-Moi quite qualifies as non-porn? Despite the protestations of the film-makers? But it was pretty memorable as nihilistic B-movie ultraviolence and sexual extremism goes.

Wild Orchid was pretty much porn, just without the explicit penetration. Urban legend has it that Rourke and Carre Otis actually did "the horizontal mumba" on-set which, to me, only heightens the appeal of an otherwise high-grade B movie.

Another good sexually-charged Rourke movie was Angel Heart, the film with ex-Cosby Show star Lisa Bonnet which earned stern disapproval from her former on-screen "dad." Ironic, I think, that Cosby himself has been recently ousted as a "sexual deviant." I wonder if he ever fantasized about banging her . . . ?

The over-the-top cheesy flick Earth Girls Are Easy had some interesting moments, especially with those referencing Jim Carrey's tongue . . . .

In the film Malice, when Nichole Kidman tells Alec Baldwin, "take me upstairs and fuck me," I got an instant boner. Just hearing "fuck me" from such a gorgeous woman was enough.

Single White Female . . . Bridget Fonda walking naked through the apartment . . . Jennifer Jason Leigh masturbating in the bathroom . . . I mean, come on . . .

Similarly, the scene in Sliver in which Sharon Stone masturbates in the bathtub. The added kink of voyeurism makes the scene even hotter.

And of course, the classic Logan's Run . . . The whole film was filled with sexual innuendo, and the sight of Jenny Agutter naked in the pond . . . sometimes, you don't have to actually see the naked bits. Imagination is enough.

The Emmanuelle movies barely even register as porn in these jaded times but I'm pretty sure they were X-rated when they were released.

Indeed. The woman had that unique combination of schoolgirl naughtiness and mature sex appeal. If she was an escort, she could flip from high school cheerleader to matronly dom with a simple ten-minute costume change. It's rare that a woman can merge girlish enthusiasm with experienced skill, and only do so with a few discriminate changes of facial expression and tone of voice.

Indeed. When Dennis Quaid starts fingering Ellen Barkin under her skirt . . . her reactions in the scene are hotter than any gonzo porn could ever be. Just watching her gasp and writhe and smile and especially the way she's both embarrassed and excited at the same time . . . .

Yeah, definite winner there.

I found that scene more comedic than disturbing.

I'm not sure to which of my examples you are referring, but it could apply to either one.
