I wante to start a new thread it's a bit different from the I'll read yours thread. It's called Hotlist. All that you have to do is put down a story that you think is hot. Not written by you of course. The Idea is to send feedback to other authors we enjoy. I would never have come across a good number of hot stories if I hadn't read those who posted in the I'll read yours thread. Also be advised a hot story doen't necessarily need the little h. that is after all awarded by the readership who as we all know can be finnicky and at times unlearned. (by that I mean many don't care about plot or character development) I do though. I want to find stories that are hot and have plots and maybe just maybe a sub plot. I of course have no time to go through all the posts and find them every once and again I just happen upon them.

The instructions for this thread are easy post a link to your opiion of a hot story. When any of you go to the link read the story and send feedback directly to the author. (just in case they don't frequent the boards) If you want copy and paste your feed back to share w/us please do,if not thats okay. But please at least tell us if you agree that the story is hot. Sort of our own Hotlist.

ps: please put the title and category somewhere in the post.
I don't judge a story's merits by the category but there are some themes myself and others don't find "hot" so it would be counter productive for me to read and comment since I'm bias from the start.

regards D21:kiss:

My initial post was a little long so I'm posting the story I think is hot here so it will be not be skipped over

The Category is Groupsex the story is

Harem Jewl
please read and send feed back

Destinie - you have such wonderful ideas for threads :)

I read and critiqued Harem Jewel. I highly recommend it too.

Last night I read this jewel of a story. For anyone who loves the Humor/Satire Catagory like I do this is a "must read" by Sarahaaaa

Size Does Matter

Okay I've come back to add some stories to the list.

Slave Wager by Seattle Zack.

Jenny,

You upset me because I saw that title in your post and I am writing a humor story called "Size Does Matter" and I was really, really unhappy to find that someone else had written one already...but it's actually called Does Size Matter?

As for an addition to our list, I will have to think on it.

Sorry Chicklet,
The exact title is "Does Size Matter?" (with the question mark) by Sarahhh. It posted a couple days ago. Cute story too ;)

I read Blue-Dark Bayou and can attest to it's greatness.
To all of you who like well developed characters and a hell of a story please read.

The story is under incest and was written by MlledeLaPlumBleu

Actually all of the stories are great. Read em send feedbak and generally enjoy.

I read Dr. Mabeuse's "Pharaoh's Boat" tonight again for the second time.

This is a story of a woman somehow addicted to things Egyptian. In her sexuality things happen to bridge the centuries between today and Egypt in the time of antiquity.

The story is just awesome. I highly recommend it. The characterizations are wonderful and I became totally engrossed in the story (and a little more than wet).

Destinie, I blush...

Here I am blithely tripping through the board, minding my own business, and here you are, saying nice things about me behind my back!

I can't trust you for a minute

Anyway, in the spirit of honest reciprocation, I will be right back with my latest finds...I have to hunt them up ;)

I never could be trusted:D
I know what ever you find will be great.
you always tend to "smarten" up the place.:)

What a neat idea for a thread :)

I have read a lot of good stories recently, mostly things from other threads like Chicklet and Jigs and Rf's stories. I won't reccomend those since they already have threads going.

I read a cute story not to long ago titled The Death of Captain Super by Seduced2cheat. It's a kind of campy romp in the comic book superhero genre and while not my usual fare it was well written and pretty erotic. Hope y'all all enjoy it.

I don't know how to post links yet. But thats the url.

*Just a note: It's in the mind control section and is pretty N/C although not violently so.

What a terrific idea. The only problem is which story to choose first.

Okay, here's my pick:

The Number by Hedbanger SA. If you're in the mood for romantic erotica you can't do any better than this story.

Jayne

Edited for grammer.

I am dumb-struck with envy. I just finished MlledeLaPlumeBleu's 1984. The characterizations are wonderful and the style is so clean. I couldn't put it down until I had devoured all four parts.

Like the story says, is sure ain't George Orwell :)

Bravo. And thanky for a fabulous read.

1984

Destinie, you marvelous creature, you! What a great thread!

I'm in the middle of reading (and enjoying) Chiclet's rec of Seattle Zack

Cross your fingers and hope I get this link right.

A+ in Reproduction

This is an exhibitionist/voyeur story from SexySobeChick and I loved it. There are definite D/s overtones, so if that's not your bag this may not trip your wire, but it's well written and I thought it was very hot.

Yowsa!

LOL thanks for all the compliements.

I can't say enough about Tawny T all of her stories are great and I'm not the only one who thinks so there's h's all over that page
I couldn't pick one story so I just put a link to them all.

I also liked
Probably Prada by DaphneX good stuff here this story is a Lesbian story. Well written and easy on the eyes.

Read and send feedback. ;)

I just finished a multi-chapter tale by the talented Sabledrake. The Ravishing of Constance goes where Romance novels fear to tread!

Keep in mind, this is not exactly a romance novel, but it appears to be somewhat influenced by the genre. Sabledrake, however, deftly avoids the miserable cliches that are so often found in similar stories.

I intend to work my way through her entire backlist!!

Thanks, bb, hope you enjoy the trip! As for 'Constance,' my mother used to read all those trashy romance novels, and say that only the Bertrice Small ones had enough really hot stuff. So those were the only ones I ever really read, and when the time came to write, I decided to just kick out all the stops and see what would happen ;)

Personally, I second the rave reviews for our dear Mlle. Truly excellent stuff! The Bayou stories ... steam just rises from the computer screen! And the monk's tale outshines most anything I've read in collections of historical erotica. This is a lady to watch; we'll be seeing her name in print one of these days!

Sabledrake

Sabledrake,

Beatrice Small did have more explicit sex than most of her contemporaries, but that's about all I found her books good for. Roberta Gellis, Mary Jo Putney, Marsha Canham, Laura Kinsale, Patrica Gaffney - those are my faves. For hot sex AND good writing I can't praise Emma Holly enough. Whether you're reading her erotica or her more mainstream romance titles she's a keeper.

This is my first post to the BB, so hello! Someone told me you were talking about me behind my back. Thank you, Jenny, for your warm words! I had more fun with that story, and a lot of feedback I received has given me fodder for possible sequels. My editor, Cy, deserves much of the credit, especially for showing me personally how to accurately measure a penis. I've been talking to a guy who claims he has mastered the technique of continuous ejaculations without losing an erection. Really! I just asked him where he lives. I think he should prove it, don't you? Now that would make a good sequel. The girls go to his house to take the flaccid measurement, but can't get the dang thing to go down. Not that they don't keep trying.

Destinie21, I like your concept here. I'll play if you all keep playing. So I'll comment on one of the stories mentioned and offer one of my own.

I agree with Jenny about In Pharoah's Boat which I just read. I have this little evaluation scheme of my own to rate stories:

1. Is it erotic? I mean, this is an erotic story website. Of course, some of us might differ on what we find stimulating. But it has to work for me, which are usually stories that have some mental foreplay.

2. Is it entertaining? Do I wonder why am I reading this, or does it hold my attention?

3. Is it technically competent? I'm not talking about a few typos, but glaring grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. Switching tenses, things like that.

4. Is it categorically correct? If it's a Humor & Satire story, it should make me laugh. If it's Erotic Horror, it should give me the chills.

5. Is there a balance of narrative/exposition/dialogue? To me, there is nothing worse than a story with little or no dialogue. I have a book entitled Writing Clinic that says, "Telling a story through narration and exposition is almost guaranteed to drive readers away." Exactly.

I give In Pharoah's Boat high marks on all the above except 3. The author switches tense near the end, and he makes some other errors which I'd be glad to point out if he's really interested. But that doesn't really distract from the story. I found it to be a very good read, and I really like the author's knowledge and/or research into the subject matter. In conclusion, I gave the story of 5 and sent the author a feedback message.

Here's a story I loved:

The Big 02 (Author: Ice_Phoenix, Category: Romance)
http://www.literotica.com.81/stories/showstory.php?id=106740

Just by chance I noticed it because it was listed right under my story and had the little "E" so I went and read it, and then sent the author feedback.

Hey, I like this thread. Please keep it going. I don't actually read many stories, but this is a good place to find the ones I should read when I'm so inclined.

Sarah

The tense shift in Mab's story is intentional.

It is intended to portray the intersection of past (Egypt, jacking off into the Nile) and present (museum, fucking on the dais) without being heavy-handed. There was probably some formatting originally included to cue the clueless reader in on the upcoming color device, but Lit strips all formatting upon converting to html.

mlle

Well, thank you, Sarahaaa for a really good read. And welcome to the thread. Always good to have another quality writer.

But Mlle is correct about the tense shift in Dr. M.'s story. That was a subtle way of shifting between the past and present. Easy to miss since the whole story is so engrossing.

Thanks, Jenny. Well, then, I think the story was even better if he did it intentionally. Doh on me! That's a tough trick to pull off. Thomas Harris did it in the Silence of the Lambs several times as I recall.

I'm curious as what criteria some of you use to evaluate and vote on stories.

Sarah

Sarahhh,

I'm with you on the #1 requirement being that it gets me sweaty. So in order of importance:

1 - Is it hot?
2 - Is it technically competent? (spelling grammar)
3 - Is it creative? (Please no 5'7, 115 blonde blue eyed 36DD etc)
4 - Are the characters engaging?
5 - Does it make me think?

There are stories that aren't particularly well-written that still manage to get me hot. They'll always earn a solid 3 with me because, basically I'm a pervert and I read the stories here to stoke my fire.
