Traveling to Atlanta over the weekend. Anyone local have any recommendations for must see places to eat?

Thanks!

There are SOOO many places to eat.

A local flavor stop and cultural haven is called 'The Varsity". It may give you the runs but just go with it when you order.

Old south traditions of shitty fried foods served in a 'youll take what I give you boy" kind of way.

Generations have eaten here before/after GT or Falcons games.

Enjoy and bring the pepto.

Haha! Ok....never had a recommendation like that before lol. Thanks!

Well, I don't know about Atlanta, but Georgia isn't necessarily all about the "shitty Southern" food. Maybe that's the restaurants these people ate at since they wanted to experience that kind of Southern food? Regardless, here in Savannah, there are way more 5-Star dining experiences which are for tourists. Yes, we have the Diabetes Queen of America here, but I have lived here all of my life and have never eaten at her restaurant. MANY locals can say that.

Point being - We have that stereotypical food, but it's definitely not the ONLY thing here...
