At this point I'm just being petulant. I refuse to join it because I think their front page is garbage. ;) Also there are so many other avenues to chat, I just don't see the need. I suppose I don't have a good reason.

Well, I'm in the Midwest, with the officially-most-neutral accent; so I suppose I'll have to rely on my humor and wit (*ahem* no comments from the peanut gallery). But I'm a 36/m who can Skype or occasionally voice. I'd love to chat.

I find both Yahoo's desktop and phone applications to be fairly antiquated both quality and reliability wise. They work, but not well compared to much more modern alternatives (Skype, Hangouts). That's just my opinion though. Using Yahoo's services just feels like stepping back in time for me...

EDIT: I just realised that's how I feel about this forum since it's (seemingly) been based on the same tech for at least a decade as far as I'm aware. However, it still works - it just might be even nicer with a bit of an upgrade.

They're using vBulletin right? I've heard to stay away for a while thanks to many additional bugs in version 5. I guess xenforo is the new hotness in forum software these days.
