Hello world. I have been on and off Lit over the years, but I can't remember my former name and password, so I am starting from scratch here. I have found a few things to be true of Lit:
(1) the interface never changes, which I rather like. The early turn-of-the-century feel of the place is endearing and reminds me of a by-gone era of the internet as it was so many years ago;
(2) there are some really great people on Lit. Men and women who are smart, fun, open, and down to earth and who have collectively created a forum to share all kinds of things literary and erotic. Taboo fantasies ... experiences ... desires ... roleplays ... it's all fair game and the lack of judgement is welcomed as it creates a space to just let one's guard down and to allow the mind (and hands) to wander. When Lit is best, it allows that which I love;
(3) there are some really crazy people on Lit. Guys masquerading as girls (especially on Lit Chat), trolls of all stripes, weirdos, and on and on. If you can name it, it's likely here (not unlike the real world, actually);
(4) it's a great community of like-minded spirits. You know who you are -- someone with a high sex drive and in need of an outlet. Making a connection with another soul who is similarly fated provides an incredible and satisfying rush that one can't always find in real life. With the right partner it can be so intimate and indulgent and intoxicating. I love the best parts of what it can be.
What I am hoping to find on this go-around with Lit is a woman looking to make a connection and explore and have fun in ways that don't or can't happen in real life for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you're married like me and have been for a while and you just need more than your partner can give. Or maybe you have all these "crazy" fantasies that you'd be embarrassed to share in real life, but that turn you on to confess in a space like this. Maybe you're in college and have always wondered what it would be like to be with someone older and experience and explore your sexuality in ways you only dream of, but couldn't imagine testing out in real life. Maybe you're a woman who loves erotica or porn or creating fantasies and sharing them with someone because the thrill is seeing your arousal reflected back in someone else and their mutual arousal in you (confession: I think that best describes me).
I am open to many things and just looking for that connection on and through Lit because (almost) everyone here has their own wonderful and, at times, overwhelming sexual interests that draw them here and makes them hopeful for a deeper connection.
