My husband was in the Navy and studied advanced electronics for two years. My sister-in-law was Air Force doing something in medical. I've listened to them swap stories about tech school. She always brags about only going for nine months and not having to extend her enlistment for the training.snooper said:Clearly you know more about the Air Force than I do! (That is NOT sarcasm.) I had assumed they only took relatively well-educated people for technical jobs, and that a college degree was an entry qualification for the military tech schools. I suppose that's because I tend to mix only with very nerdy military types.
The whole thing works quite well then.
They were both enlisted. I'm guessing you were thinking more along the lines of officers. If they don't attend the academy for four years, then they have to have at least a bachelor's degree. Although there are exceptions.
But as Fantasies_only pointed out, it still doesn't work for the virgin aspect.
