For myself, I think i was originally afraid to write anything slightly erotic in a 'regular' peice of work until after I got more comfortable posting erotic fiction. If you read a lot of mainstream fiction you'll find plenty of 'pornogrophy' tucked in between the plot and everything else

I think your fine. Write the smuttiest sex scene that comes to mind and then edit it out if it doesn't fit the tone of the peace [and then go ahead and change the names and post the smutty stuff here]
