Looks like I got the birthday gift. I must have caught Laurel as she was finishing up processing overnight entries. It is on the contest page now, along with about 3 or 4 others that weren't there a few minutes later.

I've long suspected, Laurel & Manu have day jobs. It is 6:49 in California, where I think they are. She's processing stories as she drinks her coffee and gets ready for her commute. That's my fantasy anyway. That, and they are just the nice couple next door. She's the president of the PTO, he's the guy that fixes all the neighbors computers.
