Taking this as a woman asking a man why he wants her ass...

Several reasons. The sensation is different. Pussy, ass and her mouth are all so alike but SOOO deliciously different. Blindfold me and test me - guarantee I'll never mistake a vagina for an ass or a woman's mouth. It's steak versus lobster versus... scallops; heck, there are limits to every analogy. LOL, he said "anal-ogy."

So there's that. It's physically different. Add in that for most hetero guys, it's generally less available, and that adds to the appeal. Honestly Cubans aren't that much better than other top quality cigars, but Americans can't readily get them so there's a mystique. Lots of people consider anal sex taboo, and dirty, and lots of other terms that just make it... SOOO much hotter.

This isn't really part of it for me, but I could understand how there could be a submission aspect to it as well. If it's not done right there can be pain, and some people are into giving pain and receiving it.
