Sears sent me a collection notice on a payment on my sears mastercard for something bought back in october.

It seems i have a $14,000.00 credit line.


I don't have a sears mastercard!

Hell... i don't have a sears card at all and have not had one for ten years.

My wife may have some questions to answer when she gets home.

No, she didn't do it.

I was sure she was in the clear, (she has her own mastercard and hates sears as i do.) it turns out that in 1996 some telemarketer signed us up for some credit card protection plan.

I know its bullshit because we haven't had a sears card since 94 and thought we had closed our account. Thats why we throw all mail from sears into the trash can.

I put a stop to the sears credit card bullshit which i don't have and canceled my account with sears again.

I'll still have to pay the bastards $30.00 because it is the fastest and safest way to get clear of this mess.

Shit like this is why i don't have a sears card. That and they are a bunch of fucking crooks.
