What is wrong with celebrating them in order?

Let's carve the turkey, then think of Santa.

I would say carve the pumpkin, eat the turkey & then spend money like crazy.

*ponder*

Wait I do the last one on a regular base.

Let's, I'm already tired of Christmas Carols (sp?).

Your spelling is correct.

Carols already? Sweet Virgin Mary's Tampon.

I'm sick of the commercialization that's been going on for the last month.

I remember when I was a kid, the decorations would go up about a week before Thanksgiving. Now they go up a week before Labor Day!

I think it's all about the bling bling.

The sooner we see Christmas things, the sooner they think we'll start spending money.

Feh, you're all a bunch of whiners. Get out and start shopping, I say! I love it. Whee!

Nope, not nearly enough time between Thanksgiving and Christmas to get all the Christmas stuff done. I started shopping ages ago and have most of it done. Wrapping is started, but that takes a bit longer. My living room looks like a warehouse at this time of year!

Just be thankful you don't own a retail establishment. I did for 8 years and really came to HATE christmas! I never had time to enjoy it with my own family... couldn't even think about my own shopping until a couple of days before. And then to add insult to injury, had to go to Market the first or second week of January and start placing next year's Christmas orders -- we never got away from it.

Of course, when you pull in 3/4 of your yearly sales the last 6 weeks of the year, it is kind of important.

I am so ready for Christmas! It's my favorite time of the year. We're already getting the tree up and the house decorated. I want it done before my family gets here this week so my nephew can see the tree and all of that..
:D

You probably won't believe it, but

I had 2 trees up last year. One real that went with my purple theme and one small artificial tree on the piano that was my patriotic tree -- all red, white & blue with little flags and small pictures of relatives when they were in the service. The little one stayed up all year. I started to take it down a while back and everyone said "WHY? It's nearly time to put it back up again!"

I'm so bad. Oh well.

I have a tree up year round in my guest room and it's full of handmade ornaments from friends of mine. It's a 4 foot tree so it doesn't take up that much rooom. I also have a small one on top of the hutch in the kitchen that has a patriotic theme or rather it will be when I'm done with it. Now if I could just convince hubby that I really do need one on the porch.
:D

I'd love to see pics of your trees sometime.

Shopping early is fine and practical.

Having sales before Thanksgiving is a little premature.

Just as long as SPAM and creamed lima beans are thrown in there somewhere, I'll be happy.

Christmas shopping is what Christmas Eve is for. :p

Ack, you're one of THOSE men, huh?

Wait until December to get some of the kids stuff and it will already be sold out. Wait until Christmas Eve, and selection will be zilch.

I LIKE picking the right gifts for the right people. I hate giving money and will only give gift certificates if I'm desperate. Waiting until December to shop would almost guarantee a lot of IOUs, cash, or gift certificates for people.

I think he's a perv who grinds against people in the crowded stores.
