Holiday Contest Question.

Hi. I have a story that I want to submit to the Valentine's Day contest. The contest will begin in 3 days. What I am wondering is would I be able to submit the story today and add a "note" that it is for the Valentine's contest? I've heard some people say that sometimes it takes a while for their story to get posted. That's why I'm wondering.

No. If Laurel says "no entries accepted before this date", then any stories submitted before this, will not be accepted in the contest.

Does that mean the holiday contest stories are read and submitted faster than "regular" ones?

Have I lost my mind or were there Valentine submissions up the other day? Anyone else see them but me? When I looked I saw 3 and thought the contest had been moved up. Now they aren't there...maybe I need another vacation

I'm not aware of Laurel ever making any formal announcement about doing that. BUT, contest submission do seem to get posted very quickly.
