hmmmm..halloween story contest

I just read about the halloween story contest (not like I have time to finish the stories I'm actually writing, but...) and I had a few ideas to throw out there since I prolly don't have the time to write them myself.

1. Woman reunites with lover (ghost) on the day when the barriers between our world on the next are thinnest...to make it interesting you could have some kind of twist (I'm blanking on what exactly...but I'm sure you brilliant people can come up with stuff)

2. Girl meets a sexy guy dressed a vamp at a party, has great sex and wakes up the next morning only to realize he's a *real* vamp and now she is too

3. Witch gets more than she bargianed for when she invokes a spirit on the holy day of samhain.

You have some good ideas here. I, too, was thinking of something more along the Samhain lines than a popularized American Halloween.

EXCELLENT IDEA!

I wish I knew more about witches and Samhain so that I could write it...I already have an idea for a ghost story that I hope I'll actually write, though = )

Some of the stories I saw for the contest are great

I was also thinking that halloween might not only be the day that the veil between real and spirit is thinnest, but what if it were also the day when the veil of time is the thinnest, and time travel is also possible?
