Okay... so how the hell does a LATER part of a series get significantly more downloads than an earlier part?

I excused it the first time it happened because the latest part sat high on a Top List so I figured morbid curiousity made people click on it.

But it's happened to my latest series.

I was expecting downloads to tail off as I lost reader interest... not trend upward.

What's the 'series' download trend around here?

Sincerely,
ElSol

I would assume it to mean that a geat number of readers enjoyed the first part so much, they are checking out the rest. That, combined with people who are only reading the second part because the description enticed them could be a possible explination.

My first story is an unfinished series, but the second part shows a significantly higher tracking. Why? I suspect because Lit changed the description I inserted from "Part 2 of Submitted For Your Approval," to "Sexy shoes transform shy reporter." I suppose it appealed to shoe fetishists, even though that wasn't really what it was about at all.
