Mixed Reviews & moderating intensity with layers

I have heard good things about them, but recently I read a blog by Always Aroused Girl who didn't care for the one she bought. Two speeds only,pretty intense, so it vibrates not just a small area, but deeper. Some women like that, others don't.

In her feedback area, one person mentioned his wife preferred using it on her bottom (not in) and something else on the clitoral area. But two or three mentioned that it was such a strong vibrator, they used padding between the vibrator head and their nether region to limit the intensity.

It is quite the contraption! BIG head, BIG body, BIG cord and you need an extention cord.

Ok so when I was reading up on it. It had the best reviews. I'm hoping it lasts. I was buying a new vibe every couple of weeks. This one has lasted being alternated with another much smaller g-spot vibe.

I did not think it was as intense as the bullets I was buying at thirty-five dollars a shot. It cost a bit more and is worth it.

I paid less than $60 for mine, and that included shipping and 2 attachments. Considering the cost of crappy toys (rabbits regularly go for $50-150 ), the well-made and multi-tasking Hitachi is a hell of a deal--cheap, even--IMO.

Yeah, it's strong enough to work out muscle kinks and it only has two speeds, but there are lots of ways to vary the intensity and sensations. It sounds like that blogger wasn't creative enough to figure out something that worked for her. There's a reason women have favored this toy for DECADES, and from Hubby's reaction, I think it'll become a favorite of most of the men who try it for penile and/or prostate stimulation.

I wouldn't suggest getting one of the knock-offs. I've felt several in the store, and they're just not the same or well-made like the Hitachi. Also, be sure you price shop because I just saw a bunch of them for about $50 with the two attachments. Some places charge a ton for shipping so check before you checkout.

Prior to getting one of these we'd been using one we thought was powerful a Panasonic that they don't seem to make anymore, but wasn't as strong in vibes.

Have you tried using the g-spotter on your clit in doggy by laying part of the wand on the bed and holding up the other portion, or sticking a pillow or something under it so it's close to your bits? We find doggy to be the most comfortable position to use it in, and the attachment allows me to vibrate him and slip it in for g-spot during anal.

I have to angle mine correctly to get the g-spot right, and I found I can hold a certain way while I'm doing that that makes my fingers vibrate so I can still get the clit action.

I think you are referning to the old Panasonic Panabrator. It was fantastic. Mine still works to this day.

The Magic Wand is sweet. My wife does not last long with the Wand.

I wish they still made the old Swedish Hand vibes. You used to see them at the Barber Shops for scalp massage. The ones these days are weak. Fantastic for manual play.

Its funny that I should happen across this thread this evening. I also say go with the original. They're not the same. I've felt several versions, including the A&E one, I think, and none of them compare to the Hitachi.

You're likely going to pay far more than you need to by buying it at a brick&mortar store. Get one of the packages with the wand and 2 blue attachments, for sure. You should be able to get it here by Xmas with a faster shipping option, but I certainly wouldn't mind if someone gave me a "This card entitles you to a Magic Wand" type of coupon (but definitely put some effort into making it cute/clever/artistic and wrapping it up like you would the MW - don't just print out the receipt or something lame like that) because I understand things don't always get here when they're supposed to. Also, if you mentioned you were waiting to get lots of feedback so it was more likely to be a good purchase for HER, I'm betting she'll be extremely appreciative and understanding.
