History Channel: The USS Liberty.

A fantastic program last night, may be re-running once in a while. Did anyone see the program?

The Liberty was a "state of the art communications ship" that was attacked and nearly sunk in international waters off the coast of Israel in 1967. LBJ was the President and McNamara was SecDef., a pox be upon their houses!

Any Americans familiar with the story? I think many Europeans may know much more about it. Any ideas Why?
