30 something guy Bob has been passed up, for promotion after promotion. He was seen as an outsider, he didn't go to the strip clubs or hire escorts to secure contract. But he couldn't be fired because he had solid numbers that stayed strong even when others didn't. Simply he was too by the book for the men in charge.
Bobs company is the target of a hostile acquisition that goes through. He's surprised when he is the only middle manager left standing. Not only that he is given a bump in his old bosses job at the regional head office.
Bob meets Paul the new divisional vp, and Bob quickly realizes they have a few things in common. The major one being that they both graduated from the same small southern christian college, that barely anyones heard of. That's why Paul allowed bob to keep his job and gave him the open position.
Telling Bob after looking over his files thoroughly he saw know reason why bob wasn't in the position already. Paul however sets conditions for Bobs advancement telling Bob that this is a family company. When Bob is asked whether or not he is married. Bob lies and says he has a fiancé.
Paul invites Bob and his fiance to dinner with his wife, the next day. Bob rushes to find an ex to pretend he exausts all avenues. After which he decides too call an escort. Justifying to himself it's ok because he's not intending to sleep with her.
All his descriptions and conditions are useless, only one girl is available.
Turns out she fits perfectly at 5,5. Brunette hair Alanah is great. Bob tells her what's up and give her a ring you bought along with $1000 2hr fee. Bob is now near broke having not thought this through.
Alanah laughs at all this with it not being her typical date.
Having not practiced a cover Alanah wings it upon arrival. At the end of the double date to your surprise she gives back the money and the ring. With one condition she wants a real date. Surprised she genuinely likes him, Bob and her turn what was an act into the reel thing, as the two couples head to homecoming, and bob gets a new promotion as Paul moves to the head office.
