Seeing as a couple of you seem hell bent on this caper...
I'm left handed (for whatever that's worth), have pierced ears, like dangly earrings and also quirky ones (I used to have a great collection of frogs, safety pins, aliens, etc, but they all went when my house was broken into). Weird earrings are the only outward sign I'm not your average housewife superstar
Oh, and I collect cat ornaments - but they've got to really look like a cat.

The only jewellry I wear is my wedding ring. I have a large collection of bead necklaces - ethnic is guess is how I'd describe them, mainly dark, natural colours - unpainted wood, small carved beads, not large garish stuff.

I don't have any piercings, or tattoos.

I love to draw, photograph, read (science fiction, lesbian romance, history). I enjoy embroidery, tapestry, wood carving.

I love leafing through books of places as long as they have fabulous photographs showing the best of the area. And cookbooks, love cookbooks.

I love natural textures for ornaments...stone, wood, glass - anything tactile, particularly wood that makes me want to stroke it.

I wouldn't be seen dead in red, pink, lemon, light green or anything sparkly.

Music, I adore opera - traditional, tuneful and romantic, not the modern discordant stuff. I love cello and violin music - Dvorjak, Bach, Bruch, Mendhellson, Mozart, Elgar...I also love heavy rock, particularly AC-DC.....and the wife got me hooked on good ol' country!

I love chocolate and teddy bears. Something I think I didn't mention is that I love pajamas. I don't think I put my size though and I'm not mentioning it here so if anyone wants to get me pjs, then they'll have to pm EL to find out.

I have pierced ears but cannot wear anything other than gold as it causes my ears to get infected, so I think that would probably count earrings out as a gift.

I don't like candles or perfumes because they give me a headache.

Oh, I also LOVE Dale Earnhardt Jr.... (he's a NASCAR driver for those not in the know).

My wants and needs are embarassingly basic.

Food, drink, sex, writing, sports, exercise and cars do it for me.

Not precisely in that order however.

I'm an absolutely voracious reader, usually finishing a novel in a day or two. I'll read just about anything but bodice rippers (most of them are so predictable and so badly written that I wince through the first chapter, and then put it down). Murder mysteries and historical novels are my favorites.

I like just about any kind of music except for rap and opera. Anything else is great, but you might wanna send a pm through EL before buying any music - I have something over 400 cds.

I love bath stuff: body wash, lotion, etc., as long as it's not really sweet smelling. Earthy-type scents are great.

I love watching movies....just about any, but again, historical stuff and mysteries.

Other than that, I'm pretty easy to please as far as gifts go.

NO Pink, I dislike pink. Oh and if anyone gets me clothing avoid anything of a yellow hue, it makes me look like I'm sick. Greens are alright as long as they are at least a crayola green, but I prefer hunter green and those kinds of shades, purples also work well.

I think I said this but I have ear piercings, but can't wear anything other than sterling silver as gold infect my ears and gives me a rash...For me if any questions might be easier to ask hubby (Deathlynx).
