Ordered less than $5 in items. Seller/shipper sent FedEx Direct Signature Required meaning they (probably) will not leave the package without me signing for it in person. Probably cost them $20 or more to send this $5 order.

FedEx here sucks. They might show up anytime between 9AM and 9PM ... literally. There is NO consistency. I ain't waitin' around for 12 hours watching for them. And the driver is an ass. Last time he was here, he was out of the truck, knocked and was back in the truck in less than two minutes. I had to chase him down the driveway throwing things at the truck to get his attention. I had to do it in socks since I didn't have time to get shoes on.

BB go potty? Make a boom-boom?

I laughed. :D

Well at least you know your package will arrive in a 12 hour window. I've been waiting since the 9th for one for me. And I can't check back until Wednesday to get any kind of answers as to where in sam hill is it! However mine is not signature required. Just lots and lots of patience required.

Hopefully the gods of the package delivery will be kind to you and the damn FedEx driver will be by at the right time for you.

If you didn't sign for it, you can tell them you never got it and they need to ship another one.

I don't plan on signing for it unless I just happen to be out there at that moment. The gates on the walk and drive are always closed. I'll leave a note telling the driver to leave the package. If they don't, they'll try again tomorrow and they'll see the same note. Maybe again Wednesday. Then by Thursday, they will probably return it to the shipper who will refund my less than $5.00 payment and be out the entire order including shipping.

I'll buy the gizmo elsewhere. I have more than one other source for it.

I have been buying and selling used motorcycle parts on ebay since ‘99 ...until recently, the big carrier scam was Customs Brokerage Fees... any cross border fedex shipment used to generate an extra $30-$40 per item at the door, if they actually went to your door versus saying they did. Lining up at their inconveniently located depot to pay too much was always a bonus piss off.

To their credit, ebays global shipping program has eliminated that scam ; the trade off is they collect sales taxes for the receivers jurisdiction, which is illegal... there is no sales tax on individual to individual transactions for used goods.

Ecommerce is a boon for carriers.

What movie? All you posted is a URL with no information about what it is.

Its funny farm ( old chevy chase movie ) did the link not work? Seems to work..

So you're going to fuck the sellers because you can't find a way to get your package? WAY TO GO! A really nice way to take out your frustrations and screw someone who's trying to make sure you got your product! Kudos!
