Highlander.

Gabriel:

Letting his posture ease down into a relaxed hunch, Gabriel sighed softly as Falcon worked the tention from his muscles. "How long can I stay here? Others like us will hunt me, won't they? I will have to be on guard every waking moment..." He said bare above a whisper, a hint of tention sneeking back into his frame. This was the first time he had gotten to think about what this all ment for him.

Falcon

Falcon understood his fears all to well.

"As long as you are on holy ground, no one can harm you, that's the rule. Any holy ground. Others will know of you, just as i did, and some will seek to kill you before you have a chance to learn, but i aim to see that doesn't happen. There are many of us who only play the game when we have to, only fighting when our own existance is threatened, and otherwise living out our eternity one day at a time, making the most of what this ever changing world has to offer. You learn fast. you have a strong body and a quick mind. Relax now, your tensing up again."

Working her fingers down his back, she remembered the last man she did this for, the man she loved.

"We will stay here another two days, three at the most, then me must move. I have not decided to where yet, i will talk to Brad about that, now relax."

Gabriel:

Finally Gabriel allowed Falcon's hands to sooth him. Her fingers kneeded at the muscles along his shoulders and back. After only a few moments of it he felt as loose as though he had not been sparing whatsoever.

Father Gibson

I watch as leaves she leaves the room. My mind on the past . I time long ago_Of a little Korean girl that looked somtihng like her. I got lost in her eyes think of a lost love. I let and walked to the kitchen. There was Olivia sitting. Somthing seem to be waying on her heart . Could be her family or the young immortal. No this seems more panic then love or greif. I walk over and sit in front of her. "Hello child. What is it that keeps you awake and don't lie. I can read on your face you are affraid of somthing . I can see on your face.Tell me child I promise what ever it is can be fixed."

Olivia

She jumps as she hears the man walk into the room, breathing a sigh of relief she went back to eating. Her pale eyes glued to him as he asked her of her troubles. Opening her mouth to speak, she suddenly changes her mind. No, she had to talk to Gabriel first, he was possibly the only one who could help her.

Father Gibson

As I waited for response. She goes to speak but stops. There most be somthing very wrong."Listen I am not try to be rude but. There are many people that work here. If is somthing that could affect the church . I most know what it is that is bothering you. If you can't tell who will you tell."

MeeSa

The day had been a long one, full of new things and new places. She really should go to sleep and get some rest, but for some reason she felt restless. She thought about the various things she could do to occupy her time, but nothing sounded interesting. Her Masters would kill her, or at least make her wish they had, if they knew she was so lacking in discipline.

Maybe a little discipline was the thing. She fetched her katanas and changed into her gi. She went down into the protected courtyard, out in the moonlight, and began to practice her sword work.

She loved practicing, the feel of her muscles, warm and flowing, moving through the graceful patterns, the singular satisfaction of being good at it, and the thrumming of her heart as she moved faster. Lethal poetry in motion.

Falcon

when Falcon had finished working all teh tension from his back, she climbed from teh bath and began to dry off, leaving him to soak. She had senced Meesa in the yard, and felt the urge to join her in practice. Dressing and darting out the door witout so much as a word to gabriel, she strapped on her blade and headed out into the moonlight for a little one on one with a wothy opponent.

"Do you mind if i join you?"

MeeSa wasn't sure what all the words Falcon had said were, but she understood the intent and smiled. At last, sparring! "Join MeeSa? Neh?"

The other woman smiled and brought out her own weapons, ready to practice.

MeeSa backed a few steps and sheathed a katana. She bowed, never taking her eyes from Falcon, and stepped into the ready stance.

Falcon

Falcon stood casualy, but at the ready. It had been some time since she's had a decsent sparing match, and was going to enjoy this very much.

"Shall we dance?"

She spun quickly, her blade coming towards Meesa at lighting speed.

Meesa wasn't sure what this "Dan-suh" was, but she knew a swinging blade when she saw one. Pivoting, she parried the tight swing with a loud clash of steel on steel. The swords carried to MeeSa's left before breaking apart and returning for another clash.

Falcon was very good. Such a pleasure to use the full range of her abilities for once.

Falcon

As Falcon amd Meesa dance with the blades, their bodies dripping in sweat, neither one noticed the crowd begining to gather about them, watching them more than a little in awe of their grace and skill. Neither one tired, neither one flinched, both totaly absorbed in the task.

The sound of a servant knocking over a barel brought both women back to their surroundings, and they quickly stepped apart, lowering their swords. Falcon gave Meesa a sideways smile, then saluted her in a sign of respect.

"Perhaps we can talk later, when we don't have such a crowd" She spoke in Meesa's tongue, then turned and left the circle, she needed another bath.

MeeSa saluted Falcon's retreating back and canted her head to the side, considering. A good immortal, that.

Sheathing her blade, she returned to her room. After that extended workout, she needed a bath as well.

She wondered about Falcon, and this Gabriel, and the Father who wasn't all that he seemed. And that girl. Who was she?

I heard the unmistakeable sound of steel on steel as I approached the yard and few buildings. A small crowd had gathered to watch, so I gathered it was not a real fight. My hand remained on my own sword until I was sure. There, on one building I see a small cross. Now I am certain this is just friendly swordplay on holy ground. Sanctuary. I could almost fall and sleep where I am, but I manage to join the small group without arousing too many suspicions. "My name is Stefan." I say softly. "I seek sanctuary."

Falcon

As she left the circle, she felt his presance, and picked him out easily in the gathering.

"My name is Falcon, and you don't have to ask for santuary on holy ground, it is given freely. Come, i will take you to find the good father, and he can see to your needs, you look weary."

stefan

As I followed Falcon away I glanced at the others. "Thank you for your kindness. I have seen too much lately." I got the feeling all here would be well, until I could move on.
