She probably was required to bring a certain color pair of shoes to the photoshoot, and borrowed some from a friend that did not quite fit.

My wife has done the opposite. She has bought a pair of heels that were far too big just because she liked the color and the store did not have her exact size. But my wife has a thing for shoes so if she likes them, they are coming home with her non matter if it takes (3) heel pads to make them fit!
