Hi!!!

Welcome to Lit and the AH, LKS. :rose:

As far as advice goes, be cautious in posting stories in the 'Loving Wives' cat. The readers there are mercilessly critical and will strip the metaphorical flesh from your bones if they dislike what you have written.

Having said that, have fun writing and write to have fun. :D

Advice? Don't feed scouries. Don't get your fingers close to the bars.

Welcome to the AH!

Addendum to that, Lick.

Half the readers in Loving Wives will do that no matter what you write. A lot of crazy people read that category.

They're crazy? They're crazy?

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Since it's too late for you to run away now, welcome!

Thank you, Magica. I have no intention of getting involved in politics.

I think that is good advice about getting a second pair of eyes, especially since I haven't written before. I'll remember it. Thanks, again. :)

I think I read something of yours a while back. Wait. Let me look. ;)

read mine!

:)

Stop by the FlashFic thread, LK, if you'd like to test your wings. 100 words, more or less, on a specific topic which changes every ten stories. The current theme is Sounds.

There's two ways to do that, Lick.

At the bottom of each post is a button labeled 'Quote', the one on the left. You can click on that and it will call up a screen with the post quoted.

The other way is to click on the button with the bent arrow in it, the one on the right. If you click on that it will take you to an entry screen at the bottom of the page. Once there, if you click on the 'Quote message in reply?' checkbox, the post will be quoted.

The first way give you more power, the second is quicker.

You're welcome. :)

Hey!! I did it! Thanks, again, rg. :)

Welcome to Lit. It takes 5-10 days to post something after you've submitted it. Don't ever bring that subject up again and you'll be just fine.

Keep on posting. When you get to a hundred posts, you get your own avatar (the picture in the corner).

Like you guys weren't thinking the same thing.

Thank you, Barb. :)

Why can't I bring the subject up again? 100 posts seems a LONG way away.

It doesn't take long to get those 100 posts, I've been posting a little over a month only in the evenings and look at my total already.

Thank you, TE. Avoid Loving Wives. Check. :)
