You do! Cool! High School in the UK is either Secondary School, but we finish at 16 and move on to Sixth Form, or College to 18 then onto Uni.. Illinois huh? Hmm... my US geography isnt great!... thats by IOWA right? Isnt there a place called Springfield in Illinois? Do you like the Simpsons!? .

yes indeed. the math works. We in fact have a son who turned 18 on december 18th..(he is MUCH to young for you!) and he in fact is still in high school AND has a dad..(as well as a mom). He has a curfew and restrictions as needed. Theres nothing magic about the 18th birthday, you don't get a box of skills handed to yo upon that day, so for her to say she is answerable to her dad is just common sense.
