I need ideas for a new gay male story that is different. Has anyone got any good suggestions for me?

I would have to agree with that, since 'Gay' is just the sexual orientation of the story.

Without knowing a bit more as to what you like to write as the general theme, it's hard to make suggestions. Are you looking for a short, couple page story, or a longer one with multiple chapters? Do you go more for the chance encounter, romance, NC, BDSM, ect. I know I read some of your crossdressing stuff in the past.
I have lots of story ideas, none of them Gay, but that's easily worked around if you have the general dircetion you wish to take things. Character swapping, and sexual preference is a minor point once you lay out the ground work.

I was just thinking of different settings more than anything. This time I wanted to knock out a single chapter short instead of my usual multi-chapter stories.

What about a random accident?

Perhaps a young Princess, bored with her life high up in a Castle begins to dabble in magic. She casts a spell on an apple, the first to bite into it would immediately fall in love with the person who passed it to them. She aims to give it to Sir 'whateverhisname' the broad shouldered and buff defender of the Castle.

Her mother yells out for her to ready herself for bed, and she laughs at her silliness, leaving the apple on her dinner tray. Her meal half eaten, her spell book getting pushed under her bed with haste.

A servant boy collects the tray, and takes it down to the kitchens but finds the bright red apple too gorgeous to throw to the pigs. He personally hates apples, but his friend loves them. He sneaks the apple and a few other food scraps away and runs off.

Tossing the apple in the air, he loses track of himself and bumps into the Prince. Or a Knight or the King himself. Startled the apple is dropped and it rolls to the mans feet almost as if it has a mind of its own. The boy apologizes as the man yells at his clumsiness.

Picking up the apple, the man scoffs at the boy and tells him to run off and do whatever chores he does. It takes the man a few moments as he watches the boy run off before he takes the first bite. Instantly he is dumbfounded. Such an apple, so tasty, juicy and delicious. Surely that boy must work miracles to have found something so perfect. Instantly he feels the desire to find the boy...to know where the apple was picked from.

When he catches up, his desire is strong, and as he now looks upon the boy he is in love.

Idk...its all I could think of.

You could take it to a different time period, like hinted at above? From what I've seen browsing some of the publishing sites, people like to read about gay cowboys for some reason. That theme seems pretty popular among the crowd.
