So I'm not going to introduce myself. :p

However, I will extend a nice warm welcome to all the newcomers.

So I guess I won't say nice to meet you...

BTW, saw Shrek today. The trailer for Transformers was absolutely jaw-dropping!

Ooh you're so lucky! I want to go see Shrek 3 just to see the trailer! Forget the movie, I'll just rent it when it comes out on DVD, or maybe even buy it.

I just saw Spider Man 3 yesterday and I thought it was awesome, even if the story was a bit thin.

I really liked Spidey, but it was mostly a popcorn flick. The Transformers trailer is on the net (Yahoo has it in regular & High Def), but it was so great to see it on the big screen. Not only am I going to see it first day, I'm going to make sure it's on the biggest screen at the theatre. Everything about it was amazing, all the way to the folksy way they introduce the human (and Optimus kicks ass). There's also a first review in from someone who lucked into seeing the pre-screening. Although you can't base anything on one person's opinion (assuming it's a legit person), it sounds just great. 6 weeks and counting. :nana:

BTW, you can wait on Shrek 3. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as either of the others. My 7 year-old hasn't even mentioned it since we left the theatre.

I heard there was some extra stuff in the trailer shown before Shrek 3. I have seen the trailer on Yahoo, and have been keeping up with all the latest rumblings about the film. Like you I intend to be there on opening night. :D Heck, I might even catch some fireworks afterwards (It is opening on Independance day after all, although Michael Bay is pushing for a July 3rd opening instead).

ETA: Megan Fox has already signed on for Transformers 2. Yes, there's already a sequel planned. :p

Personally, I'd rather see her sign up for 9 1/2 weeks, pt3. That woman is absolutely gorgeous.

I never started a welcome thread either (at least, I don't think I did...) I never saw the point in it.

The Transformers trailer did show a lot of promise. I'm not sure that humans would be as "tough guy" around big stompy robots as a couple of them appeared to be (here's to hoping they are being tough against other humans), and the whiny teen could get annoying, but the action looks solid so far, and yes, that girl is a hotty.

I might actually see it in theaters.

A  for Trombonus because I gave one to all the others and don't want him to feel slighted from the good little witch.

You seem like a "new soul," so it fits.

:) :rose:
Hmm, "new soul"? I have to admit, this concept intrigues me quite a bit. If I had to categorize myself I'd say I was a "young soul." I'm interested to know what you mean by this. :D

Although, to be honest, my soul is a little worn out right now.

Shit. Sometimes I feel like I got mine from the clearance rack at K-Mart. :p

A non-hello to you, Trom. ;)
