I just dropped in to look things over. I've been lurking lately from time to time.... when I have time. Way to many time in there. Oh well.

Last few months have been busy, hectic, harrowing, eventual, and exhausting. For those that are interested I had a healthy baby girl on August 24th. That makes 3 daughters.... and a hubby that I am sure is now resigned to live in a house full of women. I would have liked to have a boy as well, but am ecstatic about another baby girl.

Ok until next time. Take care all.

:rose: I'm glad to hear of a new poetess. Congrats on her birth. My best wishes are sent for a lifetime of joy.

Congrats on the arrival of another source of sleep deprivation — not the deprivation that happens in the first few months but rather the deprivation in the final years(s) of high school while waiting for her to return from a date that's gone past deadline. When they're all in their 30's you'll have your own support group! :rose:

Three girls! Wonderful! I hope she sleeps for you.... and that her sisters are big helpers :)

Congratulations!

You're nasty, Sir. (why the hell do i like it?)

And hello, sweet mother. I wish you well. I'm a nice guy, that way.

Thank you all. She will sleep 4 to 6 hours for her night time sleep cycle, but often gets her days and nights mixed up. So it's a mixed blessing. After three I would have thought we would be used to the whole ebb and flow.... but each one has been so different!

I have been thinking about writing my own poetic version of Faith No More's Zombie Eaters song. Even if it was written by a man, it is the best song that I've ever heard about the first months with a new baby. That is if I can remember to keep it in my head as I think of lines :p

BTW I never thought about it as making my own personal support group! It made me laugh. And the other two girls, even at just 2 and 4 have been good little helpers. They are doing well working through their own jealousy issues AND managing to try to do their best to help at the same time like little angels. I will have to remember that when they try my patience in the future and cut them some slack. :cathappy:

Again thank you all for the well wishes... and if I start being able to think coherently again I will start being around more often. Again thank you for the support  :) :rose: :nana:

FYI I did write that poem and submit.... while chatting with one of my sisters. Watch for it in the next few days and tell me what you think.
