Hi, I'm G. Lace.
A few days ago, I published my first story, "Impregnating my sister-in-law," on this site. I wasn't sure what to expect, but 12 thousand people already read it. Those are probably amateur numbers, but I'm still blown away.
I plan to post a new story every month, so I wanted to introduce myself here.
I started reading smut when I was a teenager (all those hormones had to go somewhere), and even though I have been writing for a long time, I'm somewhat new to erotica. In my stories, I try to get to the point and, without a lot of backstory, dive into the sexy stuff. I also barely use names or definite descriptions for the characters because I think most of us have their preferences or even like to picture someone specific when reading hot and heavy scenes. My first story here is in the POV of a male character, but I like changing that up a lot since I enjoy reading from female and male perspectives. My goal is always to turn people on. I want to give my readers a fantasy they can get off to.
So, if you are interested, here is a link to my first (of hopefully many) story: https://literotica.com/s/impregnating-his-sister-in-law

Welcome to the site and board, G. Lace.

Experiment and write and submit your stuff. We're always happy to read new authors who are working on their craft. I would suggest that if scores are important to you, taking the time to build up the backstory and creating plausible, recognizable characters goes a long way in creating an environment that is sexy. That's the observation of just one person.

Have fun!

Welcome! 12k views for your first story within a few days must be pretty pleasing - my first peaked at 4k, and that took weeks.

Have fun writing, and don't let the trolls and 1-bombers get you down. And be put off by some of the silliness that goes on here in the Hangout. Sometimes we do in fact have serious conversations about writing.

Thanks.
I just read one of your stories. Holy shit, you are really good. It's obvious you know your craft. How long have you been writing?

Hi. Welcome to the hangout and congrats on your first story. You're off to a solid start.

Thanks.

Thanks! I've actually only been writing fiction for a year or so, and only been publishing here since the summer.

But I've been line editing/copy editing/proofreading for business clients for 25 years. If you can turn pages and pages of bank reports and environmental impact assessments into something readable, writing sex stories is a piece of cake.

Hi,

Welcome. Incest isn’t really my thing. But good luck.

Em

Makes sense. Don't they both involve someone or something getting fucked?

Welcome aboard, I hope you enjoy a long and successful run as a contributor here.

There's something you need to be aware of though. Advertising in the published manuscript is against the rules of the website, which includes any author's note at the beginning or end of your document.

If enforced, that will result in your story being sent back to you to remove any form of advertising or spam. If so, don't panic. Just remove the relevant sections and publish your story again.

Contributors here are allowed to post links to their other platforms within their biography section. Also, Literotica added a function to insert the link to your paywalled content within your settings, where a branded link appears at the end of your story.

There are threads on the forum that can guide you to set that up correctly.

Good luck with everything and I hope you enjoy writing here.

Ditto.

You are already getting comments from readers on the advertising at the end of your story, so I suggest that you do yourself a favor and submit an edit that deletes the extraneous website details before the story gets reported and yanked.

All the details you included at the end of your story are perfectly fine as part of your profile page, just not in the body of any stories. I recently posted a link in my profile for readers to donate money if they liked one of my stories. It's not Patreon, but it gets results.

Another suggestion would be that you provide a link within your signature here in the forums that direct us to your stories.

I just stumbled upon this and wanted to say thanks. I was looking for exactly this info, and it looks like I got it right the first time out. I have a lot of long-form work on SmashWords, but post my short works here.

Thanks again.

Hello everyone. I have actually been on here for about two weeks now, but am happy to be a part of the team. I really do not have anyone particular genre I assign myself to. I guess you could say I like to write about things that interest me and turn me on, so I try to convey that to others. I have delved into sci-fi, romance, BDSM, incest (but usually only step-<pick a family member> type), lesbian, etc...

I love getting feedback... yes even the negative. All of it tells me if I am doing good or need to improve.

I look forward to reading more of your works and seeing what you think of mine.

Write On!

Welcome to The Show. Those are my favorite categories but my BDSM is always loving and playful with angers the true fans and my incest was twincest between two well established characters which didn't go as well as hoped, but here's hoping you get your feedback. It will come from the most interesting places and with luck you'll develop on line friendships with readers.

Stop on into the Author's Hangout coffee shop for conversation with fellow writers that can go anywhere.

Thanks muchly.

I am still working on a couple of BDSM longform (Novella) works that I am posting on SmashWords. Much of that work is based, in part, on my own experiences in the lifestyle in the 90s, another lifetime ago. I will jump over to the Author's Hangout and check it out. :)
