Hows things going? Been hanging in here, still kicking, not doing much writing lately. Everyonce in a while inspiration pushes it way through in a flash then is gone again like tonight.
here are a few things I have written periodically, didn't seem fair to pop in once and again and say something then leave.
lol...uh, so what am I doing right now huh?
Breath
air swirled
a downy gasp
sharp ricochet
in morning mist
over the lake
where loons call
echoing silence
swoon just before
full sunrise
dusk obscured white
a mating call
a yearning
a wondering
if the next
breath will be
as momentary as this
and eyes open
a fluttered wisp
of lash
wings slapping still water
the sun yawns bright
taking a second breath.
awakening
the wind prattled whispers,
tattling leaves in raindrops
"here comes another frisky breeze,"
a shimmered skitter
with flurried tease.
Then soft sun,
warm, etched, relieved,
baby kisses upon cheeks,
innocence with blossom,
Mother Nature nurtured peace
Chimes tinkle-tinged
chirped merry with
fluttered wing-beats
Spring danced with shadows
gently in my dreams
shudder-breath[//]
where is she
through waged wars
battlefields torn
mayhem asunder
silent thunder
rolled
hesitated
then raged
lightening struck blind
where is she
falls in silence
pain filled tears
wretching screams
of voiceless reason
yet she still cries
with nothing to say,
falls to her knees
and shudder-breathes
Fathers day
your eyes, blue ice,
freeze heart beats of yearning.
Voice of steel,
cold, unyeilding.
Daughter to father,
'a son' you couldn't reach...
it's been seven years now,
again I ponder time.
The phone stares silent,
you, your histronic, bottled rage,
me, my choice of freedom
and peace of mind.
