Hey.

I agree, more so seeing how I know it to be true, he's having a lot of issues with his parents and him not getting along, so he's staying at a friends house, and feels guilty even though he helps pay for stuff. Plus a friends girlfriend has been hitting on him and he keeps telling her to back off and she hasnt been listening.

I kinda wish he said he didn't like me though because he didn't technically answer that part of the whole "I like you" thing.

Maybe what he needs, even more than a girlfriend, is a friend.

without sounding childish or rude, I wanted to say that he has LOTS of friends, I'm the semi-friendless hermit XD

He's back at his parents house now. And I'm back to being clueless at how I'm supposed to meet someone when I work over 45 hours a week.

:/

Awe. I'm sorry. Affairs of the heart are so slippery, like fish that wriggle from even the tightest grip. Even though semi-friendless, and a quasi-hermit, you're still sweet, bright, and beautiful. Stay in the world and, sooner than later, you'll undoubtedly connect with someone who will cherish you in all your aspects. I wish I could offer you more.

I stayed single for a very long time, and had just a handful of serious relationships. Once I met my wife, though, it was as if all the hard work, self-reflection, and personal growth had paid off.

I am well to aware of that situation! Work can put a SERIOUS damper on your personal life! :(

I actually broke down and cried today. A friend is going through some tough stuff and the things she said brought back my own pain.

Why can guys be such assholes, it makes me think it's not even worth looking for guys because no one proves that they're not an asshole.

It's never worth lookin' for anyone, darlin' .. Fflow's right on the money. You have to be a complete person in yourself first. Be your own best friend, your own best lover, be all the company you'll ever -need-.

Then when the right person comes along, you can be with them because you want to be. Not because you -need- to be.
