Not that you care, but...
I think i've done WAY too much chatting in my years online. These days, even here, i find chat too jangly, too jumpy, and kinda, well, boring. I honestly prefer the BB's these days. There's far more thought given to the posts (at least those i'm interested in) and far more intellect and humor to be scooped up like a handful of gorgeous shiny rocks you see as you're walking at the water's edge. One doesn't find that, imo, in rt chat situations.
I like im'ing with people but that's not chat with all the jerky, hurried, half-assed discussion that chat often entails. I guess i'm not destined to be a Lit chatter. I'll just hold up the fort here on the Boards, with .. Chey? Who else?

Actually, BB chat isn't bad 'tall, cym. There's none of the chat shorthand and people can say more than LOL every other entry. That's the forum chat, not the Java chat you have to actually leave the BB to get to.
