Just what it says. Say what is for dinner/tea or what you did have.

Always looking for something new to change the pace. Restaurant or homemade, either way.

If you are kind enough to provide recipes? Bonus points for you

I'll see if Laurel can send a lapdance your way.

Thanks for sharing :)

Startin off
....

We had baked salmon with peach/mango/jalapeno/avacado pico de gallo and spanish rice with mixed veges added in

Oooo, new thread...

We had 'wet burritos' and the sexual puns can stop because hubby already made all those puns under his breath...

it's just a burrito with chicken, rice, beans, cheese...and then smothered with green chili and cheese... sure, it's a heart attack waiting to happen but we don't mind! :D

Sounds delicious! Might be worth that heart attack!:)

I made BBQ chicken pizza and i am proud of mah-seff!

Yours was verrry yummy, Mrtenant! :)

Mine was quick and simple, Arroz Cubano:
hot steamed white rice, topped with butter and a soft fried egg.

A recipe won't really help, lol. I made sausage gravy. Not a packet of mix or canned shit either.

Baked, marinated chicken breasts...loaded mashed potatoes (with French's crunchy onions) and salad :cathappy:

Didn't have dinner or tea. I had a crappy spicy chicken TV dinner and a Coke for supper.

Gotta work on that some? Bet the coke.was.good. I had to quit drinking those years.ago. Was hurting my guts. Kinda miss it sometimes.

Sausage gravy? I make that lots.myself! Lol ;)

What you put that on? I'm intrigued?

Usually biscuits, some times just sliced bread. Oh, even healthier! Two lbs sausage (cooked & drained - keep it for the gravy), 20 oz shredded hash browns, around 4 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese (more or less to taste) , & 8 oz sour cream. Mix all that, dump it in a 9x13pan & bake it for 30 minutes or so at 400. Make your gravy while it's baking. Of course, if you want more meat in the gravy you'll need 3lbs, lol. Then you can have the gravy over the potato bake. There's ya heart attack waiting!

Denny------------- Any of this sounds so goooood!
Love the old truck stop biscuits and gravy.:)

Sounds delicious, whats the marinade?

It's basically a semi thick sauce that I put cut up chicken breasts in for about 8 hours or so before I bake them....quick and easy.
Just Hellmann's mayo, Frank's red hot and Parmesan cheese. (I can't tell you how much of each cause I just throw it together to my own taste)....put them on a baking sheet with a little salt and pepper and bake at 400* for about 20 min. :cathappy:

Mega m&m's
~more chocolate and bigger peanuts

Can't vouch for the peanuts, but I did taste some salt and there is more chocolate.

Took me years to perfect my Daddy's gravy. The man didn't know what a recipe was, lol!!

My dad was disabled. Mom worked and dad self taught himself to cook. I'm not sure if he ever read a recipe but he was a great cook and baker.
He called them receipts not recipes.

I miss his pies, cakes, and cookies.
