Hockey sucks on so many levels its hard to even begin counting the ways in which hockey sucks

to many time outs
to much padding
to many helmets
to many referees
to many rules
to many overtimes
etc.

hockey is one of the few 60 minute sports that takes 8 hours to play

I don't play hockey and I wouldn't play hockey, I don't have 8 hours to play a 60 minute game

hockey is one of the few 60 minute sports that takes 8 hours to play

NHL games take 3 hours but the Olympic hockey games are done in just over 2 hours. There's very little idle time during periods. Not a lot of stoppages. Every faceoff doesn't require three minutes of coaching beforehand. Not so many five-minute TV timeouts.

I like the games. Latvia and Slovakia battled to a 6-6 draw tonight. Very cool.
