New person to the boards but I've been coming here sporadically for a long time...and recently got into the Audio section of the site...hehe. Anyway...

I've been wondering...if I got permission from an artist in the audio section, would I be able to put another layer onto a recording so it actually sounds like me and the author are having sex, or whatever? and then post it here? What I've heard so far doesn't sound like people are doing that, and I think it would be hot hehe

From a Copyright standpoint, what you are talking about could be considered a "new artistic work" and is therefore totally okay.

If you were using parts of works already Copyrighted (such as Copyrighted published music) then you need to think about attribution and maybe royalties.

And if you have permission from the person who posted the content as theirs, you're almost certainly totally okay.

Okay, that's what I thought. Thanks! My voice probably isn't the best for this though. I'm not sure how to describe it - it's not nasal, but it's not low either. and someone described my accent once as a "Arabian Canadian" which made me fall out of my chair laughing lol.
