Obviously my 'fun stuff' was said mockingly. No, its not fun for people to kill themselves.
But you're right Chey I dont know anything aobut her real life. So I go with past experience which has seen numerous online suicide threats.
Who knows if she will take her own life. I dont. But posts like hers bring aobu tthe same reaction as always from me; regardless of the validity of the following action the person needs some help in real life, needs freinds that dont exist online to be at least a rudimentary support system, and needs to deal with life matters ina direct way as they have reached soem form of deperation.

I probably wouldn't get too involved in an online suicide threat if I didn't really know the person in real life. But if I had information about his/her real life that I thought could help to find the person, I'd use it if I could to get the person help. If I had such information, chances are that person is more than just an online persona to me.

It upsets me that someone would be so selfish and weak as to think that killing your self is the answer. That willingness to fight for your life - gone.
If it were simply a matter of a call for attention then that’s just a disgusting and just plain mean way to do it. People care. The value of a human life is high to most and to be told that someone is planning to remove one is revolting.
