it was more about getting "proof" it was him. many people wanted to know who it was, but no one dared to just ask him publicly.....
leigh confirmed it first though.

anyway, imo it's usually pretty simply: you wanna know stuff, you ask. now i (and others) can ignore him without any doubt left it was him. end of story.
