SELF (Southeast LeatherFest)?
in Atlanta, June 7-10? Tori and I will be attending, I'd love to meet up with anyone going.

How about in July? Any of you going to GWNN's Birthday Bash XIXin Austin, TX July 20-22?
How about San Antonio Crossing in San Antonio the following weekend? We'll be doing a week or so in central Texas, so again, I'd love to meet up with any of y'all in the area then.

DragonCon Aug. 31 - Sept. 3? Again, that's in Atlanta.

Those are the big one's I'll be at the next few months. SELF and DragonCon are just for fun trips, I'll be giving Demos at GWNN and SAC... They should be good times!

I'd really like to go to things like these, but I don't associate much with people in my local area when there are events. And all of these are in the southeast or south, neither within the finances of my present situation.

Hopefully, before I die, I'm going to have enough money and time to be able to attend one of these things. I bet they are a lot of fun.

Hey Shank! Yeah, I'm alive and kicking. Busy as hell, working on my BS in IT, webmastering for the Tarheel Leather Club, and for the last 3 months fighting a losing battle against NC's Amendment One...

But other than that, life just keeps on getting me older.

DVS - C'mon... GWNN Bash is in July. You got a couple of months here to save up. It'd be great to meet the face behind Alfred Hitchcock! ;-) It's the closest I'll be that way in a while. Though I've had an offer in Milwaukee that might pan out. Would that be closer for ya?

As much as I'd love to meet you too, my finances are very tight. I've been laid off for the second time in two years so getting ahead is impossible. And getting a job that I can make enough to pay my outstanding bills is going to be difficult. I don't see any traveling in my future. Oh well, it's just how the economy is, these days.

Okay, travel times comfirmed. We fly out to Austin at Oh'My'Gawd'Hundred on July 20th, and we'll return on July 29th. Tori and I will be appearing at GWNN Bash later in the afternoon/evening of the 20th and presenting a class on Interrogation and a class on Co-Topping over the course of the weekend. We will probably be at "The Secret Rural Location" for the play party Saturday night as well.

The following week we will be in San Antonio, and will be presenting a panel on "What Being Leather Means To Me" at SA Crossing on July 28th. Details on that appearance to follow.

I hope some of our Texas and SW peeps can attend one or both of these events, it would be great to see some of you!

Well our travel plans for GWNN are confirmed. We will fly out to Austin on the 20th of July, and fly back from SA on July 29. Woot-woot!
