Hey Lil'Vanky, about that human rights thing ....

What, you didn't know the trumps exploited workers and contractors and pretty much everyone else to get rich?

The Fair Labor Association's report, released Monday, does not specifically mention the name of the factory or say whether workers had been tasked with a Trump-related project during the time of the audit. G-III also has partnerships with Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Kenneth Cole and Karl Lagerfeld, according to its website.

Anyone who buys Chinese has a better than far chance of a product being made under what we would call unethical. Even to the point of using low wages. It costs less to live in China.

Sri Lanka and Cambodia are beating out China for cheap labour these days. China is like 3 bucks an hour while Sri Lanka is 70 cents. China and South America with the poorer southern countries of Europe are about equal.

Ivanka's marketing miscue is not using exclusively American products. Can't have her daddy screaming "Buy America" when his baby girl flaunts cheap Chinese knockoffs. Don't hear of any word on bringing back clothing industry jobs to America yet. One of the first to leave.

This is another Kathy Lee hit piece writ large. Nothing to see here.

And they are happy to do it, otherwise there would be children doing the work.

This is yet another example of economic illiteracy. If they could make more money doing anything else, they would be doing something else. This is traditionally how a middle-class is created. They are not working for the immediate, they are working for the future of their children. I still remember being in China and having our daughter (who was abandoned because of her sex) whisked off in every restaurant that we ate in to the tunes of the only universal English phrase that there seemed to be in China, "Lucky Baby!"

If this appalls you, then you need to reexamine some of your 'core' beliefs...

And as you have often bragged, you forked over ten grand in American dollars to the Communist Chinese government to obtain your "daughter", in essence subsidizing their "One Child" policy with hard currency.

But hai, the "invisible hand of teh market" and all that Von Mises crap...
