It'd be cool if we could get enough to consider asking to be included in contests, but there are only a handful of people posting there. I say 'we', but I'm just corraling the stuff. I can't draw a straight line using a ruler without getting a bump around my finger.

I've just started to teach myself to draw. Don't hold your breath, but once I'm at an acceptable standard I might post something.

Maybe in about 10 years when my youngest is 18 I'll feel comfortable making naughty art.

Art pads are so much harder to hide than a locked profile.

Failed at picking drawing back up last year. I don't think I'll have the time to pick back up the skill as of now, especially without any means for digitizing.

Would be fun to go back to political caricatures though, but that won't fit here... unless I want to enrage every single side in the Politics Board lol.

Haha, I would, but getting banned from Lit would be the least of my worries. At best, I'll have my country's version of the FBI investigating me for inciting hate, perhaps terrorism too since they obviously love to put that charge on anybody who crticises the government or its figures. I can't risk it. I barely dodged a bullet last year.

We had informal drawing challenges years ago; something like that may inspire more to get involved. I haven't done much drawing in many years, but I have been considering picking up the pen again. I'll see about posting some of my older pieces in the visual arts forum; perhaps that will encourage me to start drawing again.
