i have a cousin that sometimes gets hold of films like this ... damn i didn't realize it wasn't out even oops ... i was going to look online where to buy it

ok i'll shut up now and talk about the film again when its out

i was thinking while watching it though that it would be amazing on a big screen ... do you know if its been at the pictures yet ?

Mirimax picked it up for distribution but the official release date wasn't supposed to be until November 2003. But then it got nominated for Best Foriegn Picture so rumor has it the release might be sometime this spring.

So, is it better than Crouching Tiger or what?

its very different compared to hidden dragon ... if you are wanting it to be hidden dragon 2 you'll hate it

visually its better then hidden dragon (hard to believe i know) ... but the story is much more like a legend ... the characters are much more like myths ... the film doesn't really bother trying to make them seem like real people infact it kind of trys the opposite


its also slower paced i would say ... but its just the most amazingly beautiful film you could ever see

I'm certainly not looking for a Crouching Tiger 2. I've just been hoping Hero isn't a low grade knock-off. You know how that can happen with a popular film. But I'm getting the word that Hero is the real deal. Can't wait to see it.
