I fantasize over female Hermaphrodites, it would be great to have best of both worlds in one person!!!!

If you're going to try to find one, try using the right terminology. The politically correct name for someone with both sexes is "intersexed." Call them a hermaphrodite and you'll insult them.

Personally I prefer transgender women to genetic women. I read somewhere that they are something 1 in 10,000. So just meeting one is a challenge for some. If you are lucky enough to meet a girl that you like make sure you treat her right.

Sorry I didn't know that. But because of literotica I can now say that I fantasize over intersexed females!!!! Thanks Stefani

Let me preface this post by assuring everyone that I'm asking this question in all seriousness.
Are there any physical signs that denote a person's being "intersexed" or, for lack of a better word, a "hybrid" of the male and female?
This is the first place that I've found to even begin to ask such a question and would really appreciate any help on the subject.

I've always known myself to be bi-sexual, and have often privately cross-dressed as a woman. But I've come to believe that my body is actually physically different from what a man's should be. Without being to graphic, it's the "anal area". It seems to be almost deformed in some way? It's appearance is like nothing I've seen in any sort of pornography featuring either men or women. It's as though directly under my testicles, there's a clitoris that tried to form, but somehow didn't fully develop. I know this sounds silly, but I swear it's true. I've often achieved orgasm through anal penetration or simply manipulation of this area and they've always been very intense. Has anyone ever heard of any similar "mutations" of this type, and if so, where could I begin looking for more information about this?

this is bullshit. they are called hermaphrodite because thats what they are. doctors, scientist, and history call them that and so shall i. i also dont say african american when i mean a dark skinned fellow because most of the ones living in the us have never been there. i however do call a friend of mine from egypt african american even though he is white. i dont say latin american when i mean mexican. i also dont say gender confused when i see a transvestite. i call a lesbian a lesbian and if it a masculine lesbian it is a dike. im not going to change the way i view or name a person because they dont like it. changing the name doesnt change what they are. a rose smells like a rose despite the name. the same goes for a pile of shit.

SORRY to all offened: Intersexed

I want to say sorry if I did offened any intersexed (females or males). I will use the correct description from now on.

I still would like to find a true intersexed female, I have only found old and not very current info and a singles website I was led to believe was for intersexed single really wasn't. So if you are out there please feel free to post or get intouch with me.

Sanity I would say talk to your parents, ask them if there was anything about you that required surgery when you were born, it does sound a bit like you were born intersexed and had a bad surgery to make you a man.

I actually don't know much about the subject, but I do know that most times intersexed children are made male because it's an easier operation, which of course does not mean they can do it right.

If they say no, go to your doctor, or any doctor you happen to find in the yellow pages and ask them about it. They will of course do a bunch of tests that will take a while, but they will usually give you a guess right away.

Christian, I don't know any place you can find a woman like you want to, I guess you can try alt.com, but that one I think is mostly for fetishists. Best thing I can say is post ads for them all over and pray, most intersexed children in the US undergo surgery pretty quickly to one sex or the other.

If I'd have undergone surgery as a child, wouldn't that have required continued monitoring or hormone treatment? I never had any real health problems growing up. Physically everything works fine with my body. I was married briefly and have even fathered 3 children. That's part of my confusion about this?? I've thought about asking a doctor to look and explain what I perceive to be the "differences" down there, but honestly it's just too embarrassing. I mean, maybe everyones anal area is just different, I really don't know. This post is the first time in my life that I've had to nerve to even bring the subject up. I really appreciate everyone not laughing me off the board! :)

As far as I know not really, since most surgeries like that happen within a month, I think, after birth, there is little in the way of additional visits and any extra mediciation that would have been needed would simply have been in your food and likely stopped before you were 3. Children recover from such things much faster than adults. ;)

Mike, calling a group what they want to be called is known as common curtesy. Do you call a homosexual a fag and a black a nigger? You seem like the type. You obviously don't know any intersexed people. I do. Calling them a hermaphrodite would be similar to call you a ignorant putz. Yes, that's what you are, but you don't like the label, do you?

You're so polite Stefani. Or maybe I'm just being temperamental. But I was thinking more along the lines of clueless jerk-off for the guy.

Sorry for the ignorant asshole above

I wish to apologize to all that may have been offened by the stupidity of some people, that have a closed mind. If I could I would remove his reply but thay would make me a closed minded person because even tho he is blinded by his own actions I will be open enough to say you may place your words here but to offened others it wrong. And for that I hope that anyone reading his words it doesn't represent me or others here.

i dont mind labels. but would you call an asian man or woman a "person of smaller eye size" or a mexican a "differently ethic" person because a handful wanted it. no i think not. the same goes for any group not just hermaphrodites. and i have watched specials on them, on discovery health and other channels and they all refered to themselves as that. also in all of the literature i have read they call themseves hermaphrodites. and no i am not refering to porn. and no i dont use nigger. i dont think black people should either. but on occasion i do use the word fag. but i do it only with gay friends in a playful way such as when they get the best of me or win a competition. they ussually have a wity responce ready. and they never have told me to stop.

me called people the term given to them by society is wrong? i suppose if you lived 400 years ago calling a black slave a nigger would make you a racist and a bad person. it wasnt always a bad connotation. it got that way over time. there is no negative associated by the term hermaphrodite. it doesnt make you a second class citizen. and changing it to intersexed is just rediculous. if i change the name from cancer to the happy fun time does it still kill you.

offending others isnt wrong. trust me calling yourself christian1971 and posting on a gay and bisexual chat board is going to offend some people. the mere existence of the glbt board is sure to send jerry falwell into a seizure(one can only hope). it isnt wrong to offend people. it offends me to think that people are so dumb to think that changing the name of a condition changes the condition. it doesnt. it doesnt make it better. my mom is crippled. she has two metal knees. but calling her handicapped instead of crippled doesnt make her more able. and to the idiot that say "im not handicapped im handi-capable" you are delusional. you are crippled. even steven hawkings laughs at those guys.

Hermaphrodite is a perfectly correct term for it. Anyone who would take offense at such an inocuous techical term is hypersensitive and ignorant.

refering to them as intersexed would be confusing because that is occasionally used to refer to transexuals as well, who are different from hermaphrodites.

Is a person who is intersex a hermaphrodite?
No. The mythological term “hermaphrodite” implies that a person is both fully male and fully female. This is a physiologic impossibility.

The words “hermaphrodite” and “pseudo-hermaphrodite” are stigmatizing and misleading words. Unfortunately, some medical personnel still use them to refer to people with certain intersex conditions, because they still subscribe to an outdated nomenclature that uses gonadal anatomy as the basis of sex classification. In a paper that will be coming out in the Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism in 2005, five ISNA-associated experts recommend that all terms based on the root “hermaphrodite” be abandoned because they are scientifically specious and clinically problematic. The terms fail to reflect modern scientific understandings of intersex conditions, confuse clinicians, harm patients, and panic parents. We think it is much better for everyone involved when specific condition names are used in medical research and practice.

To read more about the Victorian origins of the medical terminology of “true” and “pseudo” hermaphroditism, check out chapter 5 of Alice Dreger’s Hermaphrodites and the Medical Invention of Sex which is available at our bookshelf, or go to our FAQ called What’s the history behind the intersex rights movement?.

One more thing: While some intersex people seek to reclaim the word “hermaphrodite” with pride to reference themselves (much like the words “dyke” and “queer” have been reclaimed by LBGT people), we’ve learned over the years it is best generally avoided, since the political subtly is lost on a lot of people.

?? confused ??

what does the name I chosen have to do with anything? First I don't have to explain anything but I will it's my name and b-day year.

All of that is bollocks, but I'm goign to comment on the last aprt specifically. You can't "reclaim" something that never belonged to you in the first place. language belongs to anyone who can speak it and to attempt to change that or how people think about it is narrow minded, bigoted and frankly, fascist.

Alrighty then, clueless mike. I'm probably wasting my time here, but I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to dealing with the clueless. I know this cause lots of people have told me so, and if everyone is calling me that then it so MUST be true!

When I first starting hanging out with the sexually rebellious crowd, I met several TG persons who passed with varying degrees of success, as well as one person with the 47XYX chromosonal pattern. Not wishing to cause offense, I spoke to a good friend asking her how to address or refer to these people. She told me I could do one of two things. I could simply refer to them as the gender they were presenting to me, and if I was wrong, they would normally politely correct me. Usually you refer to them in the manner they present, but there are some exceptions to this rule. Alternatively, I could ask them how they prefer to be addressed and behave accordingly. It's called "common courtesy." Or perhaps it would be "un-common courtesy" in your world. Now then, stefani is always a she, to me, just as dania is always a "per" and I try to remember to Spivak Etoile's daddy, but my good friend DaddyM is always a He. My point is, it is rude to insist insist that someone is something if they themselves are uncomfortable with the label.

Anyone who's interested in a basic rundown of gender and sexuality issues could Click me! and get a general overview. There are exceptions to the information on the Intersex website, but it's a good jumping off point.

edited cause my spell checker is apparently on strike again, as it missed something.
