Okay, so this is a discussion thread that I feel like putting out there because there doesn't seem to be any middle ground whatsoever; you either love it and have no qualms about it, or think it's absolutely disgusting an inhumane.

I'm mostly talking about living crush... as in, stomping on things like bugs and other small critters for kicks.

So what are your opinions about it? Do you get off on it but feel conflicted? Do you like it and not care either way? Do you hate it?

As for me personally... crush is a big part of the macrophile community (especially giantess), and I've seen some debates rage on about it elsewhere. I absolutely detest it and think it's completely irresponsible, and the only concession I'll make is for the likes of ants or mealworms.

Thoughts?

Well, I'll admit that I have never heard of this. I would have to say that I certainly do not have a fetish for it.

It seems similar to any other form of animal cruelty, even if they are bugs or whatever, and in my own opinion people who get off on hurting/killing other living things are sick in the head.

I will stomp on black widows and brown recluses because it seems the safest way to deal with them. The notion of twisting repugnance into a getting-off on the crunch and crush... seems downright Freudian, and you probably know that I hold him in very low esteem. ;)

Maggots get ooh'd over, carried safely into a plastic box, and given bones to clean. My family is a little bit Addam's-ish in that way :D

I remember watching a crushing video on a episode of Tosh.O but it was a severely obese woman and a kaiser roll.

Oh yeah, if you've got a practical use for them, by all means... but to me, killing animals must serve a practical purpose. Either for self-protection, for food, and in the case of (humane) hunting, for keeping populations down.

What prompted this was that there was a discussion going on in some group on fetlife, where a woman who was into crush was asking about animal substitutes because she didn't want to step on things like grasshoppers or goldfish, and if there was no substitute, why. It was a little upsetting to not really see anyone give any real insight, but rather write up why it was so hot. Apparently they get off on the idea of the woman being powerful enough to have control over a life like that, and take it how and when she wanted. One guy who wasn't into animal cruelty (perhaps the people that like it don't see it as animal cruelty? I've never seen any of them refer to it as such) suggested she try stepping on toys instead.

I kind of lump this behavior in with the likes of pedophilia-- as in, needing to damage something that isn't capable of giving consent to get off. You hear horror stories about folks getting tired of bugs and fish, and instead go for larger, furrier animals like kittens. Thank god they usually get arrested. :[

BTW, I just ran across a very sweet, happy-ending m/m macro story., you want it?
