Once again I cause you to suffer.

What did I learn this week?

I learned that my wife enjoys riding as much as I do.

I learned that ordering a Riding Coat from New Enough means it will be here almost as fast as if I bought it from a dealership.

I learned that eating Mexican Food before driving long distances is not a good idea.:eek:

I learned that my father still has a truly nasty sense of humor and forgets nothing.

I learned that my mother likes the way I cook, and is willing to give up her kitchen to me on occasion.

I re-learned just how much fun one can have climbing trees.

So what did you learn this week?

Cat

I learned that I hate automatic transmissions. Engine breaking is almost impossible with them. They tend to get away from me so that I am fdriving up to 10 miles per hour faster than I want to be.

I learned (anew) just how entertaining, endearing, lovable, intelligent, annoying, and downright bratty my youngest is...and all at the same time, too.

...there's a corollary to Murphy's Law somewhere that says that any remaining cash after paying bills, buying groceries, etc., will be immediately used for something unforeseen, but completely avoidable, like a fucking speeding ticket.

I have learned that my local hospital is not very good. I've seen too many things in the care of my Mom to ever put a family member in there again.

I had 2 neck operations there but only stayed overnight so didn't get the full neglect.

Once again, I have learned that government agencies, especially tax collectors, absolutely HATE to admit they were wrong.

I've learned that terror is insidious - and only faith that it does get better keeps it at bay...

I've Learned I have friends that I didnt know I had :) (kisses to all of you)

I've learned that five months of agony make me a really BITCHY red headed menopaused woman - who Will walk out of Doctors office in the middle of a appointment if he really comes up with something stupid to say... (its better than getting arrested for assualt of an idiot)

I've learned the Gentle Scoundrel is a extraordinarily patient man, and it makes me :heart:love:heart::rose: him all the more -

I've learned that having construction done in your house whilst in agony is an invitation to paroxisms of dementia...

I've learned that having a life even while ill is the key to feeling human...

I have learned that standing in the biting wind and rain for over an hour is great fun when your son is playing his first school rep soccer game.

I have learned (again) that building your own house is a frustrating business and

I have learned (again) that whoever put together our kit was a certifiable idiot who can't count - why else would we have double quantity of some things and short supply of others?

I have learned that even a leaking caravan can seem cosy and warm if enough cats are sharing your space.

I've learned that growing a beard makes me look underage (I've been carded 3 times since I've started growing the beard, 3 weeks, and hardly ever got carded before)

I've learned that I'm better looking than I give myself credit for (although given that I'm drunk, I might be wrong about that)

Actually, I learned a lot tonight while at a bar getting drunk. Or at least remembered a lot of things I learned before. It's actually a bit sad...

I've learned that when you think it can't get any worse... it does.

Ditto....but I've also learned that when you've hit rock bottom, there's still a new low. Actually, there is no "low point." It's all just a bottomless pit and we have to deal with it.

Oh please don't tell me that. Worse here would mean losing our house, car, etc. I won't be able to take that.

I've learned that after fifty two years I'm still unsure of who I am or where I'm going.

I've learned that my plan is more solid than I thought, and if all goes according to plan,
my life may actually get back on track. Here's to hoping.

I learned that there are 9 calories in a gm of fat and there are 4 calories in 1 carbohydrate.

I learned that kitties are cute, but I will always have an allergy to them. :(

I have learned my sons are walking more closely in my footsteps than I realized, and I am hoping that as I change my path they will follow me that way as well.

There ain't no good in no evil-hearted woman.
And I ain't cut out to be no Jesse James.
And don't go writin' hot checks
down in Mississippi.
And there ain't no good chain gang.

I have learned that my faith in myself waxes and wanes. I seem to be in a waning state at the moment.
