...he uses him in a political advertisement that makes Fauci appear to endorse Trump and say something totally untrue and fabricated.

as trump continues his relentless assault on dr fauci, it would seem to be backfiring with not only swing voters but republicans, including Lamar Alexander, a longtime U.S. republican senator from Tennessee and the current chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions:
