don't really have one... i love earth tones and the colors of tuscany...they are all over my house.

What is the grossest thing you have ever eaten?
cow tongue. forced by a babysitter at age 4. i will never forget it.

What is the worst Halloween costume you ever had?
ooohhh...i always had good ones. mom made sure. i'll say cheerleader, just because there was no originality involved that year.

What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?
drank too much at a club, threw up out the window of my friend's Escalade (all the way home), then on all fours in her front yard, then slept on the bathroom floor half dressed. mind you, this was less than a year ago. i never even did this in college....have always had more control than that! try explaining that one to a worried spouse. sheesh. what the hell was i thinking???

Do you think of yourself as popular?
i used to, a hundred years ago when i thought that stuff mattered. now? not so much. i have some good friends because i am kind. that's what matters.

Do you keep a diary?
diary? no
gardening journal? yes
travel journal? yes
blog? yes, when i get to it.

What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?
A Stranger in the House (the original) - because it was so real.
"have you checked the children?" eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkk!

Who is your favorite band?
Red Hot Chili Peppers, but i love all kinds of music.

What was the worst prank anyone ever pulled on you?
a friend had her cousin call me and start demanding money. he knew my name and details about me, so i thought it was for real. i was about 14. totally freaked me out.

Have you ever been in a play?
yes. Edgar Allen Poe's The Tell-tale Heart as well as various high school Christmas musicals...mostly i did set design and contruction, makeup, and marketing for the plays.

If you were a super hero what power would you have?
i'd like to be able to transport myself to any time or place of my choosing with a blink of the eyes....kinda like Jeannie.... *sigh*

Blood wurst. But tongue or head cheese are a close second.

What is the worst Halloween costume you ever had?
It has to be the year I went as Charlie Brown in his Halloween costume. I thought it was great, but people just didn't get it. Remember the Halloween special? Charlie Brown goes as a ghost and while making the costume he kept on getting the eye holes in the wrong spot so he had several eye holes and people thought he was a potato and they gave him rocks??? Well I went as Charlie Brown's attempt at a ghost.

What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?
In High School, during the holidays, my grand parents were visiting so they took my bedroom and I had to sleep in a sleeping bag next to my parents bed. Well next to their bed and by my sleeping bag was their stash of porn. I slept in late that morning and started to browse through their magazines. Naked girls!!! Well one thing lead to another and I was... well you know... and I didn't hear my Dad come in the room. That was embarrassing.

In College, one cold winter night, I walked home from the school library to find my car had been completely buried in snow. About 5 months later I found out it was a girl I had a crush on.

I had some lines in a grade school play. I think it was something patriotic but I can't remember.
