i guess it would depend on the standards, guidlelines and definitions involved in defining a submissive as better or best ... for starters. From there, i'd wonder just how controled the control group would be? How accurate of a study and/or study group ... etc ect .

i AM trying to fix my title. Figure ... maybe ... i need 1005 posts rather than the 1000 that i thought i needed. Figured i'd post here to make 1005. But, the 'better' question was a given .... yes.

I've actually heard of at least one prior study with the same results... I don't recall it mentioning gender (but perhaps it did, and I forget) but I definitely remember a study concluding that redheads have a higher pain tolerance. In the study I'm remembering, I think they determined this by administering anasthesia gradually and then poking or proding (or causing pain in some way) to the volunteers and seeing how their bodies react. Redheaded bodies stopped reacting to the pain much faster than blondes or brunettes.

Yay, just another good thing about being a redhead. We take a kickin', and keep on tickin'!!!

ya know...italian ppl (or at least my italian ppl) think redheads are very very different then other ppl and that they possess tons of unique qualities only redheads have.when i had my son he was born with carrot red hair. my granny (red hair, green eyes, and freckles) came to see us and told me in italian. "ahh a redhead, very good. " and winked at me. i also remember my grandpa telling my mother that she cant spank or punish the capa rosa (pronounced caparuuusse)when they misbehave, it has no effect. uhmmm he was right.

Weird, I thought a few years ago I read something completely different - that redheads have a lower pain threshold and need higher dosages of pain medications to get the same benefits as non-redheads get on normal doses.
