"Her thighs and calves danced in a hypnotic rhythm as the placed her towel against the wall and began to stretch."
I read this sentence in a story/submission, and I'm just curious because I've never been to a gym or seen any demonstrations of a proper warmup, and I'm wondering what kind of movement the author was trying to convey when he/she wrote this.
For context, the story takes place at a gym which the male protagonist has his first day at, and the paragraph describes him seeing the woman for the first time.
What kind of feminine pre-workout stretching involves movement of her thighs and calves in a way that could be perceived as "rhythmic" or "dance-like"?
